PSIII: JT Foster School, Nanton

My internship took place at JT Foster School in Nanton.  I had the opportunity to experience teaching high school.  I taught grade nine and 10 ELA.  The grade ten class had 34 students and consisted of dash one, two and four students.

I was responsible for short and long term planning, teaching, assessing and reporting grades.  I took part in three way conferences, chaperoned school dances, played on the staff volleyball team against the school teams, attended School Council meetings, staff meetings and Professional Development opportunities.
